Britney Burgess
Co-Artistic Director
It has been Britney’s dream to start a theatre company for over a decade. Originally from Salt Lake City, UT, she felt a need to experience “edgier” forms of art and life and decided to learn while traveling. She attended Reed College in Portland, OR (BA Theatre), spent a year in London studying acting, and rounded off with Brandeis University in Massachusetts (MFA Acting). Since landing in New York, she has performed with Aisling Arts/Play Outside Festival in Twelfth Night and at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in the premiere of Sympathy. A great fan of the Classics, Britney has been most thrilled to play Medea, Klytemnestra, and Andromache, all with a modern twist. Britney has also taught acting, directed, stage managed, and designed make-up and costumes. Britney is a member of Actor’s Equity.
